A continuous pool surround and alfresco slab designed to read as one finished surface.
A new pool shell with bare ground around it and an undeveloped alfresco beside it. We set the coping true to the shell, specified a slip-resistant finish for the wet edge, and poured surround and patio in one continuous pass so there is no seam where the pool ends and the living space begins.

A newly installed in-ground pool shell with bare surrounding ground and an adjoining undeveloped alfresco area.
Coping detail set out around the pool shell, a slip-resistant finish specified for the wet-edge zone, and control joints planned to match the home's existing paving lines.
Formwork set true to the pool coping line, steel fixed, concrete placed and finished in a single continuous pour to avoid a visible seam between pool and patio.
